Why It Is Urgent to Deepen Your Spiritual Practices Now

deepen your spiritual practices with a spiritual mentor coachAs the world becomes more intense and chaotic, we need to deepen our spiritual practices to remain balanced. But you don’t have to go live in a cave or a monastery; you can integrate them into your everyday activities. Right now, there’s a collective unraveling taking place. People are afraid, reactive, and deeply unsure of what’s real anymore. Old structures are cracking as new ideals take shape and those in power resist (inevitable) social changes. Old certainties are gone, along with the sense of security of familiar institutions and situations.

The mental noise has gotten louder, and it is exhausting! Even the familiarity seems too contradictory to bring lasting relief, as more hidden aspects come to light, thanks to planetary energies shifting our attention toward greater truth and freedom (see Why the World Feels So Chaotic Right Now: Humanity Is Awakening and The Year of the Fire Horse: A Powerful Cycle of Freedom and Social Change), along with the forces moving the collective dream toward a new cosmic cycle of experience (The Astrology of 2026: A Powerful New Start and Reset and Self-Ascension Into 5th Dimension – Part One).

The Time We’ve Been Waiting For Is Here

In times like these, the most immediate desire is to escape, either by consuming more news and opinions until we’re over saturated and paralyzed, or by choosing easy distractions and addictions to self-soothe. Unfortunately, these temptations have the high price of greater anxiety, depression, or a combination of both. We cannot escape what is a crisis of the soul within the human experience because it is demanding greater awareness, courage, and determination. And yet, it’s not the first time we’ve been here, so we can rest assured that we’ll find a way to survive the chaos.

Things will get worse before they get better, and the only effective way out of the challenges ahead is to go inward, and much deeper than before. This isn’t the time to ease up on your discipline; it’s the time to commit more fully, to embrace the changes. It’s similar to the friction a grain of sand has to undergo to become a beautiful pearl. And just like that grain of sand is meant to become a pearl, we are meant to become freer, more empowered, and more loving once we drop the ego-based, addictive, undisciplined version of ourselves that brought us where we are right now.

Think about it. The world has increasingly pulled you out of yourself. Every headline, every post, and every conversation has been drawing your attention outward, to the world of appearances. And when your attention is scattered, you lose touch with the one thing that can actually bring you stability: your center, where you access intuitive wisdom and dispassion to quiet the ego-mind’s endless chatter and negative beliefs.

When your life-movie gets hard, it means that what you haven’t resolved is coming to the surface more intensely for you to see old wounds, old patterns, and old seeds of perception and behavior. You can thank Saturn, Pluto, and Uranus for that. The intensity of this moment is asking you to look at what’s running your movie from the inside: the sense of vulnerability or abandonment, the need for power and control, and the belief that the world is dangerous and violent. Ultimately, the idea of separation (ego) is at the heart of any internal or external conflict.

Your Spiritual Practices Bring You Back to Yourself

This is why the world seems to always be at war, and will continue to be at war until we drop the ideas that make us judge, compare, resent, and fight our egoic sense of otherness, which we perceive as people separate from ourselves. Old patterns don’t just disappear, not even when things calm down; they just go underground. Only serious, ongoing spiritual practices allow what’s hidden to arise gently enough for you to meet it with awareness instead of fear. Whether it’s issues with a close relationship, a job, work, finances, or social and worldly concerns, life is nudging us all to reassess our inner and outer resources to heal our wounds and transform the world from within.

Spiritual practices like meditation, self-inquiry, breathwork (pranayama), prayer, mantra, contemplative study, or any other technique that puts you in a meditative state, is how you remember who you truly are beneath the fear and the mental noise. It gives you access to the Love that heals you emotionally and balances the dreamworld. When the outside chaos gets to be too much, your inner world is the solid ground you can stand on.

If you’ve been meditating in a light, comfortable, when-it’s-convenient kind of way, this moment is likely showing you that something deeper is needed. A genuine spiritual practice isn’t just a stress-management tool. It’s a complete reorientation of your perception and relationship with yourself, with others, and with life itself. It’s the slow, steady, and sometimes uncomfortable discipline of releasing the ego’s grip on your thoughts, emotions, and identity, as you discover what’s underneath them to reclaim your divinity.

This depth takes continuity and commitment. It takes showing up even on the days when you don’t feel like it. It takes sitting with discomfort instead of running from it. Because the world doesn’t need more reactive, disconnected people pretending to be spiritual or being manipulated by fake gurus and prophets. It needs those true freedom seekers (feminine souls) who are here to make the effort to transcend suffering. If this is you, your time has come! It may not look easy or pretty, but it is your purpose to heal the wounded Feminine and turn things around.

You Are Here to Contribute Your Transformation

One of the most powerful things you can do in a chaotic world is to remain grounded, clear, and compassionate even when everything around you is unsettled. I’m not talking about pretending everything is fine or that you are above the messiness of life. It’s about being fully present to what is, embracing it all without being swept away or deluded by fantasies of someone coming to save you. Autonomy and emotional freedom are essential now to shift toward a new feminine cosmic cycle of community and togetherness (What Is the Age of Aquarius All About?).

This is what a deeper spiritual practice builds. Not a kind of immunity to life, although it certainly makes you more dispassionate and neutral, but rather a rootedness within it, seeing yourself in everyone and seeing all things in you—the good, the bad, and the ugly—without resistance. It expands your capacity to feel deeply, act wisely, and stay anchored in your true Self even when the storm is raging. It’s not about speaking the language of “spirituality” to feel special or superior, but living life from a place of clarity and love.

If your spiritual practice has been inconsistent, recommit to a daily practice, even if it’s just ten minutes of stillness in the morning before you get lost in your phone or the busyness of the day (see 3 Reasons Why Daily Meditation Is Essential). If it has been more surface-level, go deeper or make it longer, or integrate it into your day by giving it chunks of time in between other activities. And if you’ve been waiting until things “calm down” before you get serious about your spiritual path, please stop fooling yourself. For one, things may not calm down for a while, and also, you’re giving your power to the ego that does not want you to go inward, where it dissolves, and will continue to sabotage your process.

This is the moment, right here, right now demanding more order and inner clarity. So, stop postponing the deepest work of your life and contact me today to get started with guided inner work to gain real emotional and spiritual freedom!
