Main Astrology & Numerology For 2022

astrology & numerology of 2022Happy New Year! You’re probably looking forward to a better year, and I think it will be, in spite of the disruptions the Covid-19 will continue to create. Of course, the mind wants a quick-fix to restore life the way it was, so we can go back to the familiar, but that’s not exactly how life works or what this year is going to be about.

First of all, the Pluto archetype that brought the pandemic, by joining restrictive Saturn and expansive Jupiter in Capricorn, won’t move into Aquarius until March 2023 to shape the collective dream for the following 20 years. It will continue to uncover what’s toxic or no longer useful in order to gradually empower the collective will. It may not be an easy transition, but it will lead to a deeper transformation.

The whole fabric of society is changing (see Saturn-Jupiter Conjunction and Grand Mutation in Aquarius), and change always triggers resistance. Saturn, Pluto, and Uranus have and will continue to shatter outdated structures, both individual and collective, but the real question is, are you willing to release the past and open up to new possibilities of experience, or are you too afraid to surrender and accept that you have no real control over anything?

I think this is one of the main things Jupiter will encourage us to ponder this year while it transits Pisces, where it recently moved into and will remain till May 10, and then again on October 28 till December 20. It will also prompt us to take action, especially between May and October, when it moves into Aries. This is a great combination of energies if you’re willing to step out of your comfort zone and open up to something bigger!

Pisces is about expanding to a higher vision, and Aries about moving forward, being willing to take risks on yourself without guarantees, to actualize or leverage your own expansion. However, this may not be as apparent this month, with Venus being retrograde and then Mercury following suit, as well as both these planets traveling over Pluto to let go of any unnecessary baggage (see How To Take Advantage Of Venus & Mercury Retrogrades).

We had a bit of a preview of Jupiter in Pisces last year, from May 13 till July 28, 2021, so try to remember what that period was like for you—physically, mentally, and spiritually. This year, as is often the case for a spiritual seeker, you must tend to the foundation of your life, uncovering and resolving past, outdated dynamics and beliefs, before you can step into a higher version of yourself.

On one hand, Pisces tends to create a “pink colored glasses” type of perception, showing us the infinite possibilities of our divine nature, but it can also turn things fuzzy on the practical, down-to-earth aspects of life. This may get  exacerbated this year with Neptune also in Pisces. If you pay close attention to this, to avoid illusions and disappointments, you may feel more connected to yourself and others without neglecting the effort needed to grow and accomplish what you want. Avoid escapism or procrastination, and stay grounded and disciplined!

On the other hand, Aries holds an independent, entrepreneurial energy that yields passion, courage, and confidence, helping you take the lead or initiate action in the direction you want your life to go. You will be rewarded for your fortitude and perseverance! However, starting in October, Mars (the ruler of Aries) will go retrograde for a few moths, forcing us all to slow down and reflect on our priorities and actions.

Other Aspects of 2022

Overall, this year will be more positive than the past couple years, but not necessarily less intense. However, you should start feeling an internal shift toward greater harmony and peace, even if the external world continues to bring strife and scandals to the surface. In truth, in these times of global transition, our illusions and comfortable views have to shatter to lead us toward greater insight (see Self-Ascension Into 5th Dimension – Part One).

In Chinese astrology, February 1st marks the beginning of the year of the Water Tiger. The tiger is characterized by strength, vitality, and growth, as well as confidence and courage in the face of obstacles. It is also unpredictable and quick to action, often driven by the motto, “Go big or go home,” so this is a year of extremes where even crazy dreams can turn into reality. Keep an eye on your tendencies toward competition, anger, and conflict, but be willing to take the leap into what you’ve been wanting to do. Just remain flexible and open if sudden changes or situations occur!

In the USA, Pluto will make an exact return on February 20, July 11, and December 28, 2022, that is, it will be in the same position it had when this nation was born. This will likely bring to a head issues that have been brewing for the past few years, either creating disruptive power dynamics or promoting greater clarity of purpose. If the country is focused on building a better collective future, the decades ahead will be brighter than before. Otherwise, well, let’s not go there…

Then again, remember that your life is an individualized movie within the collective dream of Divine Consciousness, and you can always transform your perception of it by looking within and removing what blocks the Awareness and Love you truly are. The world is a creation of the ego-mind, so it is made of our thoughts, memories, and desires. Realizing this gives us the power to transform and transcend it. :-)

General Numerology For 2022

The digits in 2022 add up to 6 (2 + 0 + 2 + 2 = 6), which is the number of responsibility, family, and creative vision. It emphasizes healing, duty, education, home, love, and matters of the heart such as marriage, children, and close friends, bringing to the forefront both the pleasures and the problems in your personal life. Also, as a spiritual seeker, the need to take full spiritual responsibility for yourself.

When love is your motivation, you can accomplish anything, but you need to learn to discern love from attachment, self-interest, and the need to control; these are motivated by fear, which is the opposite of love. Life will give you plenty of opportunities to learn the difference, as new ventures and responsibilities arise this year.

You may be faced with many choices to learn the value of responsibility and discipline as well, especially in relation to your home, family, and work, giving you the opportunity to test what you’ve learned in the previous cycles. It’s important to find balance between your needs and those of other people, using your creative energy to help while also allowing them to take responsibility for themselves.

The negative aspects of a Year 6 is that it can bring about a lot of shame, difficult emotions, and pressure to carry out responsibilities you didn’t anticipate. Again, the key here is balance. For instance, you may get new and exciting career opportunities, but you also have to decide what “home” means to you or deal with extra duties you didn’t see coming.

Number 6 is the creative visionary on a mission to heal, but its shadow is the perfectionism that disrupts real fulfillment with judgments and stress. There is a strong energy of “relationships” this year, due to the repetition of number 2 in 2022, which is about partnership, diplomacy, patience, generosity, and service. Remember to lead your life and others, if that’s what is asked of you, with love, not fear, in a spirit of selfless service!

Overall, this is a year of expansion and responsibilities prodding you to find a balance within yourself in relation to external needs and demands. Keep these general energies in mind when you read what your personal year has in store for you.

Your Personal Year Number

To calculate your personal year number, add the digits of your birth month and day to 2022 (or 6). For instance, if you were born on July 12th, you’d add: 7 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 2 = 16, then reduce to: 1 + 6 = 7, so your personal year would be a year 7. Now let’s take a look at each personal year.

YEAR 1: New beginnings, projects, goals, births (or rebirths). One is the energy of Oneness, individuality, creativity, and independence, but also of ego. This is a good year for you, in spite of the pressure of new responsibilities. Do not let your creative energy get damped with thoughts about past failures or regrets, and stay focused on your goals. Good words for this year are: CLARITY, DISCIPLINE, CONCENTRATION, LEADERSHIP, SUCCESS.

YEAR 2: Relationships, partnerships, balanced responsibility. Two is the energy of duality, of the illusion of separation, which it tends to instigate with misunderstandings, although the global energy of this year can help mitigate that. The focus will be on relationships. You can find true love or have to choose between your individual expression and other people’s needs. It’s time for you to recognize that a good relationship requires emotional maturity on both ends. Choose clear communication rather than confrontation or shutting down, while also developing greater flexibility and independence to deal with changes and demands. If a career change is in store, accept delays as well; remain detached as you move towards your goals. Good words: SERVICE, DETACHMENT, COMMITMENT, GROWTH.

YEAR 3: Emotional honesty, creative expression, excitement, good luck. Three is the energy of self-expression, good luck, good fortune, and change, which this year may relate more to something you’ve been working towards rather than sudden events or new endeavors. You may experience ups and downs in your relationships, so try to avoid emotional drama, moodiness, and self-pity. Stay positive, focused on your goals and creative endeavors, with a spirit of cooperation and service. Good words: EXPRESSION, RELAXATION, GOALS, JOY, EXPANSION.

YEAR 4: Stability, hard work, safety. Four is the energy that promotes stability, so it tends to create a bit of chaos to help you build upon what you’ve learned during previous cycles. It’s usually a year of hard work to cultivate patience and perseverance. Since this year’s global energy is about responsibility and balance, you may see new opportunities and a sense of hope develop, bringing you things you’ve been wanting. But only if you’re flexible and courageous enough to put yourself out there. Good words: CAREER, BALANCE, PATIENCE, COMMUNICATION.

YEAR 5: Freedom, changes, travel, spontaneity, entrepreneurship. Five is the energy of freedom, which can get easily scattered without clear boundaries and activities that anchor you in the present. Since 5 is too close to this year’s number, you may feel more constricted than say, last year, forced to move more slowly in the direction of your goals or to make the changes you want. Don’t let self-doubt stop you, however; this should be an interesting year for you! Remain focused and anchored in your projects and relationships, open and willing to accept people and things as they come and go. Good words: PATIENCE, GROUNDING, LETTING GO.

YEAR 6: Responsibility, family, marriage, community, health. Six is the energy of responsibility needed to harness the lessons learned through previous years. It promotes creative cooperation for the good of the family and community, but it can get heavy with obligations, health issues, and work. This may intensify this year, but you will be given many opportunities to achieve what you want and be recognized for it. Your hard work will pay off! Good words: FOCUS, FAMILY, OPPORTUNITIES.

YEAR 7: Trust, spirituality, intuition, faith. Seven is the energy of spirituality that helps take the experiences of previous cycles to a deeper level. For this reason, it may present challenges on the worldly aspects of life to help you learn to trust that you’re always guided and supported. The general energies of 2022 make this a great time to expand spiritually, by delving deeply within, but they will also challenge you to ground it into daily, ordinary life. Your spiritual development should be your priority, but this year it must be of karma yoga, or selfless service to those who need your help or support (on any level) without expecting anything in return. Good words: FORGIVENESS, SELF-AWARENESS, FREEDOM, KARMA.

YEAR 8: Power, recognition, appreciation, abundance. Eight is the energy of power and abundance resulting from your commitment during previous cycles. If you’ve developed discipline, flexibility, and gratitude, this year will bring many opportunities to expand and accomplish anything you’ve set your mind to! But it’s also a year to make positive changes to improve your personal and professional relationships. Finances may be a bit tighter this year, to help you balance the material, personal, and spiritual aspects of your life. Good words: COMMUNICATION, KINDNESS, EXPANSION, TRANSCENDENCE.

YEAR 9: Completion, integration, integrity, fruition, preparation, humanity. Nine is the energy of completion, of the integration of previous cycles, encouraging you to tie loose ends and release what you know it’s time to let go. It’s a year to declutter your space, release what no longer serves you, and close circles, in preparation for something new. In alignment with the energies of 2022, you will have opportunities to reap the rewards of your efforts, although it may feel like you’re still preparing for something even better. It’s good year to release old emotional baggage and outdated patterns of perception, to expand your experience of life! Good words: CONFIDENCE, INTEGRATION, SURRENDER, FAITH.

All in all, I think 2022 is going to be a good year, but remember that your best contribution to this collective dream is your own transformation. So contact me today to embark on a personalized journey toward emotional and spiritual freedom!
