Today is Earth Day in the USA, and I just wanted to write a quick note on this special day to remind you to celebrate Mother Earth, today and always!
No matter where you are in the world, take the time to remember and appreciate all she does for you: How she nourishes and sustains you, and how she offers you a place to live, play, love, learn, and expand your consciousness to awaken the magnificent being you truly are.
On this day, 42 years ago, the modern environmental movement was born, which has now expanded into the awareness of millions of people and most countries around the world. That’s no small feat! As I write this, more than a billion people are calling for the protection of our planet, as they gather to celebrate.
Celebrate!
So today and every day, tread gently on this beautiful planet, leaving only footprints of love. Be mindful of her when you purchase stuff; keep the momentum going about environmental change whenever you can; join in the ranks of peaceful warriors to outnumber those who harm her, with your awareness and compassion. Remember, it’s the hundredth monkey that tilts the balance of things!
Go out there, plant something, join others if you can, or simply consciously enjoy and appreciate your day on Mother Earth!
